Since 1973, Patagonia has been designing and manufacturing clothing for skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor sports sourced from sustainable materials. Their mission statement is, “build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis”, and they’ve certainly lived up to that.
Today, Patagonia offers one of the widest lines of sustainable outdoor clothing and gear available. In order to protect the environment, Patagonia primarily uses recycled polyester and organic cotton in the production of their clothing. The vast majority of their products are Bluesign approved and utilise Fair Trade labour.
