Black Crows

Founded in 2006 in Chamonix, Black Crows is a relatively young brand in the world of freeskiing. It’s no secret that we are smitten with the Chamonix area having skied there approximately a month a year since 2010 and we hosted our first aussieskier Adventures tour to the area in Feb/March of 2017.

Black Crows are a company out to make the best skis for the skiers. Their original ski design was born due to a lack of any ski on the market that could handle the steep and technical skiing found in Chamonix. Thus the Corvus was born. Stable, wide and capable of being skied hard down the most technical of lines the Alps had to offer.

Since then the company have been able to branch out, and offer skis across the spectrum, from precise resort focused skis the Orb & Vertis, and their ladies counterpart, the Vertis Birdie, all the way to pow-hunting-fat-sticks the Nocta. 

The fabled Black Crows Freebird series are some of the most popular touring skis on the market. You can't miss their bright block coloured design when you are out in the Backcountry, they are everywhere, and for good reason too. Our Australian picks, the Camox Freebird & Navis Freebird are some of the most capable Backcounty skis around.

Their most popular model is also a favourite of the shop. The Atris & Atris Birdie are amazing skis for travelling Australians. A great one ski quiver for Australians who travel.
