Ski Gloves

XTM Aria Womens Gloves

$83.99 $119.99

Ski Gloves are one of the most important pieces of gear to ensuring warmth and comfort on a day out skiing. We all have had experiences with cold and wet hands due to our ski gloves getting wet. A good pair of ski gloves is waterproof, windproof, warm and breathable. But pending how cold your hands get, the amount of insulation in a glove is probably the most important choice to make.

Good ski gloves are often made out of leather, with a Gore-Tex membrane and an inner liner for added comfort and performance. The leather is great because of its natural durability. Gore-Tex aids the waterproofing of the gloves and the liner provides soft next to skin feel.

When deciding between Ski gloves or Mittens it's important to consider how cold you get. Mittens are naturally warmer, due to the smaller surface area that is exposed to the cold surroundings. Using Ski Mittens you can lose a bit of mobility. If you are going somewhere cold or know that you normally run cold, try a pair of mittens for some extra warmth.

Many brands make great gloves and mittens, Hestra makes some of the best gloves going around. Dakine gloves are known for being incredibly durable and staying waterproof for years and years on end. POW and XTM make very highly technical gloves that are great quality and Australian owned.
