The process of Hot Waxing your own skis is not that difficult, although incorrectly done can ruin your skis. If you have never done it before, jump on Youtube and find a guide. Once you know, you'll never pay $20 for a Hot Wax in a shop again!
We stock a range of waxes, some that are best applied with an iron, some that are a quick rub on. Iron on Wax last in the ski longer and is better all around, but is more time consuming and easier to mess up. Rub on waxes are perfect for a lunch-time speed boost, they only take seconds to apply and can be kept in your pocket or backpack for when needed.
New for this year are the range of waxes from Mountain Flow, their Eco waxes are based from plant materials and are the only one of their kind. These take away from the environmental impact of the fluorocarbons left behind by other waxes. Mountain Flow have produce both an Eco Hot Wax & an Eco Rub On Wax and are applied exactly the same way as their traditional counterparts.
