Keeping your skis in great condition is an important part of making sure your day on the mountain is enjoyable.

Keeping your ski bases hydrated, protected and sliding their best will involve regular hot waxing with the correct temperature wax for the conditions you are skiing. Polishing your skis edges with a gummy stone or diamond stone to remove burrs will also help with a smooth ride. 

These things can easily be done at home with a few pieces of tuning equipment such as a waxing iron, ski wax and a gummy edge stone.
