Volkl Peregrine 82 Skis + Lowride 13 Bindings 2027

The Volkl Peregrine 82 is sleek black sports car in ski form. Packed to the gills with tech that allow it to hug every corner and leave you smiling from ear to ear. Volkl have tuned the 82 to be perfect for aggressive, though not necessarily expert skiers. Subtle tip and tail rocker are your get out of jail free card to pull out of a carved turn at a moments notice.

Wide body carvers, including the 82mm waisted Peregrine, are a common solution to Australia's challenging snow conditions. The Carving body shape allows for high performance piste skiing, whilst the extra width give the skis flexibility when the groomers slush up in the afternoon. 

The Pergrine 82 sports Volkl's 3D Radius sidecut, blending 3 distinct radii into the sidecut of the ski. This allows Volkl to fine tune each skis willingness to make different turn shapes. Ultimately leading to much more versatile skis that both allow lesser experienced skiers to cheat into solid turns and experienced skiers to alter turn shapes based on body positioning and weighting of the ski.

The Peregrine 82 has a tight radius (14.1m) in the center of the ski, with longer in the tip and tail (25.1m & 21.9m) This gives the ski a smooth and calm feeling when the skis are running straight whilst allowing the skis to come around in a carved turn incredibly quickly. 

Our aussieskier team tested it in Italy in 2026 and it ripped through the firm groomers that we had on the day. It has a noticeable bump in stiffness when compared to the Peregrine 80 and appreciates a slightly higher speed and more experienced pilot.
