Volkl Peregrine 80 Skis + Lowride 12 Bindings 2027

The Volkl Peregrine 80 is an accessible all mountain carver that is sure to be enjoyable by a wide range of skiers. Wide body carvers, including the 80mm waisted Peregrine, are a common solution to Australia's challenging snow conditions. The Carving body shape allows for high performance piste skiing, whilst the extra width give the skis flexibility when the groomers slush up in the afternoon. 

The Peregrine 80 is a forgiving option within the carving category, with both tip and tail rocker and limited metal in the construction. Perfect for developing intermediates to take their skiing to the next level.

The Pergrine 80 sports Volkl's 3D Radius sidecut, blending 3 distinct radii into the sidecut of the ski. This allows Volkl to fine tune each skis willingness to make different turn shapes. Ultimately leading to much more versatile skis that both allow lesser experienced skiers to cheat into solid turns and experienced skiers to alter turn shapes based on body positioning and weighting of the ski.

The Peregrine 80 has a tight radius (14.1m) in the center of the ski, with longer in the tip and tail (25.1m & 21.9m) This gives the ski a smooth and calm feeling when the skis are running straight whilst allowing the skis to come around in a carved turn incredibly quickly. 

Our aussieskier team tested it in Italy in 2026 and found it to be smooth and capable in varied piste conditions whilst still retaining the solid edge hold that Volkl are known for.
