The Volkl Mantra M7 are the flagship of the Mantra collection and gets all of the tech. Being the 7th generation of fabled Mantras the M7 has seen a few changes and we think that Volkl have nailed where they have landed.

The 96mm body is a great width for being able to handle all conditions world wide and the construction allows it to be incredibly strong on piste, not just when compared to other 95mm+, but when compared to the whole market.

Built on a solid wood core with Volkl's Tailored Titanal Frame and Carbon Tips, the tech built into the Mantra series is top tier. The combination of these two technologies allows Volkl to take a bit of the weight of titanal out, and replace it with carbon to provide stiffness and stability through the tip.

The Mantra 96 sports Volkl's 4 Radius Drive, blending 4 distinct radii into the sidecut of the ski. This allows Volkl to fine tune each skis willingness to make different turn shapes. The extra radii, when compared to Volkl's 3D is right at the tip, giving the ski early engagement and allowing other radii to be lengthened for more stability. We found the M7 to have a perfect blend of stability at speed and eagerness to be drawn across the fall line.
