Description
Description
The new Salomon Shift 10 is a perfect partner in crime for its bigger brother the Shift 13. Coming with a lower DIN range, it is the perfect crossover touring binding for ladies and lighter weight users.
By utilising a Pin toe for touring and a true alpine toe and heel for skiing, the Shift is the holy grail of touring bindings. Featuring best in class downhill performance, you will forget you are on a touring binding from the moment you step in. Confidently ski anything on the mountain, whether it be big cliffs, backcountry booters or even an icy groomer.
MNC certification allows for the use of any normed ski boot on the market. If you were so inclined, you could even your 150 flex world cup race boots in a Shift at the resort, they are that powerful. (You won't have much luck getting in the Pin toe to hike back up though)
If you want a single touring binding that can ski hard and tour efficiently, the Shift is the one.
We have a bunch of days both in and out of the resort on the Shift and have come away very impressed. It skis as well as any resort binding and tours perfectly, no compromise on performance in either aspect at all.
