The Salomon Warden 13 MNC is a bombproof 13 DIN binding inspired by the success of their Guardian backcountry binding. It features an Oversized Platform for maximum power transfer and was the first binding to be TÜV approved for all types of soles. In the complicated world of boot soles, the Warden 13 MNC makes it simple.
We tested the new Warden 13 from Salomon and found this was a solid freeride/freestyle binding built with a more durable brake that also retracts to help prevent getting caught up on each other when riding switch or when really cranking your edges over on groomers.
Another new feature is the Transfer Pads which allows for increased dampening and forgiveness. If you are looking for a durable binding for your wider skis without having to change boots the all-new Warden 13 is an excellent choice.
Brakes come in 90mm, 100mm, 115mm, and 130mm but fit a little wider than suggested. You can easily fit a binding onto a ski that is 5mm wider than the brake (i.e. 95mm ski with 90mm brake).
