The Sore Ankle Kit is a great solution for skiers who experience ankle pain during and after skiing and can’t get to a bootfitter, or want to get straight on the slopes when they get to the snow.
The Sore Ankle Kit includes a Sidas Active pre-fabricated insole to provide arch support and limit pronation aswell as a Sidas C-Pad foam adhesive. The Sidas Active prefabricated insole replaces the stock sock-liner which is found inside the the ski boot liner. The Sidas C-Pad is stuck to the outside of the liner, around the medial malleolus or ankle bone. Please watch the video below from Sidas on the correct placement of this pad.
Package Composition Information
The Sidas C-Pad foam adhesive is a great solution for a skier who is experiencing a feeling of sloppiness around their heel and want to reduce the volume or space around this area. The skier may have sore ankle bones with ‘hot spots’ or red spots caused from rubbing and friction at the end of the day.
Prefabricated 3Feet Insoles
Prefabricated insoles like the Sidas 3Feet Active range are regularly added in to ski boots to increase comfort and performance, and are a much better alternative than the stock sock liner all boots come with. However, they can also be added into most shoes as well to increase arch support and cushioning. They come in a range of sizes and have guidelines through the forefoot to trim to the exact size needed. The High arch range are suitable for people who have a high, prominent arch, whilst the Mid arch range are suitable for people with normal to low arch heights.
