When Blizzard announced the 2018 Brahma Carbon we were very excited. The Brahma is a legendary model that a lot of our customers read about online due to stellar reviews, but the reality is that it's too stiff for the majority of skiers - we talked more people out of it than in to it.
The Brahma Carbon mirrors the dimensions of the Brahma but uses a layer of carbon fibre instead of titanal to produce a still stout, but not over the top flex pattern.
This is not a soft ski by any stretch of the imagination, but is far more forgiving and user friendly.
When we tested it in Austria in March 2017 we were very pleased with what we saw, a good quality, torsionally stiff 88mm-waisted all mountain ski with excellent responsiveness and versatility - this is an ideal ski for Australian conditions - firm in the morning and slushy in the afternoon, and can be skied all over the mountain.
