The Blizzard Brahma has been completely redesigned for the 2018 model year.
It still retains the characteristics that has made it a legendary ski in the stiff ~90mm waisted category, continuing with 2 sheets of titanal to ensure a solid flex for hard charging skiers, but we welcome the increased sidecut to decrease the turn radius.
A lot of work has been put into the tip and rocker geometry which adds responsiveness at turn initiation.
We tested the Brahma in Austria in March 2017 and liked what we saw - it is still 100% a Brahma and we definitely appreciated the revised sidecut. It remains a ski that is not for the faint hearted, if you get lazy or in the back seat it will kick your bum. It is a ski that is designed to be skied hard and fast all day, if you don't you will know about it.
Leave your ego at the door because if you overestimate your ability the Brahma will expose this and you will have a pretty miserable time on it.
Blizzard has also added the Brahma Carbon to the 2018 range, identical shape but more forgiving construction without the titanal, we honestly think that this ski is a better match for most skiers - we used to talk more skiers out of the Brahma than in to it, but the new Carbon model will suit a wide range of skiers.
