Founded in 1947 by Francois Salomon, Salomon offers a broad range of sporting equipment, including skiing and snowboarding helmets, skis, goggles, bindings, poles and a great deal more. Purchased by Adidas in 1995, the company was then sold to Amer Sports in 2005.
While Salomon might be most famous for its focus on bindings, as well as the introduction of the SX series of ski boots in the 1980s, the company brings the same commitment to research, quality and style to its entire product lineup.
Today, Salomon offers some of the most popular skis on the market, including the QST 106 powder skis, the QST Stella women’s skis, the QST 99 Lumen women’s skis, and the QST 85 skis. Popular bindings on offer include the Warden 11 bindings, Z12 bindings, and EZY5 bindings to name just a few.
As mentioned Salomon manufactures a full range of snowboarding and ski equipment, including helmets. The Ranger 2 4D Custom Air helmet is one of the most popular, although the Venom, Pearl, Icon 4D and Cruiser helmets are also popular.
Don’t forget your poles and goggles – Salomon’s offerings include TMTN ALU S3 poles, Angel S3 women’s poles, and the advanced Aksium googles, as well.
