When skiing out of bounds, there’s always the risk of an avalanche. It’s imperative that you know what you are doing and have the gear that will allow you to rescue your mates and be rescued yourself. Not only is it essential to have the holy trinity, Avalanche Beacon, Probe and Shovel, but the knowledge of how to use them is just as important.
