Looks like we’re in for a bit more snow. As we know Buller is in desperate need of snow, and the chatter I’ve heard from Falls and Hotham is that while they are far from dire straits a nice little top up will be just what the doctor ordered, as their lower, sun facing aspects

Snow Forecast – Fri-Sun July 13-15 2012
We were joking in the bar on Tuesday night that the deluge raging outside was payback for five stunning bluebird days in a row. Wednesday to Sunday were beautiful conditions all across the alps, and I was fortunate to ski for three of those five (Reports in the Snow Reports section). I wasn’t planning on
Hotham Snow Report – Monday 2 July 2012
After another storm rolled through over the weekend things are looking really good. It’s crazy to think that it’s only the start of July. The riding has been fantastic, plenty of fresh tracks to be had and for those not really interested in that sort of thing the groomers with their packed surface were excellent
UPDATED: Snow Forecast – June 21st-25th 2012
UPDATE: Wed June 20th 3:30pm Very brief update. All is on track for decent snow Thursday night into Friday. Biggest news is that the front on Sunday seems to be fading. Instead we are looking at an extended period of very cold temperatures for snowmaking. I’ll only update this page again if something drastic happens
UPDATED: Snow Forecast – Thu 14th June 2012
UPDATE: 6pm Sat 16th June: The last few days have been funny in the snow forecast corner of the Internet. It’s early season and we’re all keen. Dead keen. Weather was clearly incoming for this weekend, and man didn’t we know about it! But the funny thing is that this system is marginal at best

Buller Update – Sat 26 May 2012 – 20-30cm At All Resorts
In case you have been living under a rock – it snowed. Somehow, some way the big moisture that we all knew was coming miraculously combined with a cold pool whose origins I can’t believe yet am incredibly grateful for, and the net result is that all the Australian resorts have received between 20-30cm of
“2012 Is Set To Be A ‘Bumper’ Season” – Bullshit! (Long Range Forecast)
It’s that time of year again folks. The weather has most definitely cooled off, the alps have received their first few dustings and the spin goes in to overdrive. We’re all excited about going skiing, none more than myself. And it’s this enthusiasm that brings out every cliche in the book, old wives tales and
Mt Buller 2012 Season Pass Pricing Finally Revealed – Insults Regular Customers With Price INCREASE
In case you have been living under a rock, there’s been a season pass price war amongst Australia’s resorts. Except Buller – they put their prices up. The story goes like this: Perisher announced their Freedom Pass on the 4th of September and sent shockwaves through the industry. Skier numbers and participation were plummeting and
Snow Forecast – Weather / Snow Report 4 Jul
UPDATED: 5th Jul 7:30pm It sounds like it has been a pretty wild day in the alps. We woke to large fresh snow totals in NSW but more modest numbers in Victoria, however from all the people I spoke to at the various mountains it snowed constantly throughout the day. It is difficult to give
