Today I saw a few links pop-up on Facebook for a product called ‘Snow Beacon’ which is an avalanche transmitter. Some clicking around the website shows that it is a transmitter only – no search mode – running on the internationally recognised 457KHz frequency. Just got word that the new Buller app has gone live. Search for “Mt Buller Live” in the app store. The interface will be familiar to users of the Hotham and Perisher apps as they have used the same developer. Look forward to testing it tomorrow!
